The vegetable hybrid seed industry is looking for good production areas, free from seed born diseases in order to achieve the high-quality standard required for the professional vegetable markets. We are situated in Ica, in the south of Peru, located 300 km south from the capital Lima.
This area in Peru has exceptional climatic conditions, enabling the growing of vegetable seed crops almost year-round and is giving us the possibility to offer to our customers the best quality seeds.
In Ica area, the temperatures are not extreme year-round; Minimum is around 8 °C in June-July and the maximum is 35 °C in January –February. There is almost no rain and the humidity is low during the days.
Agroseed del Peru is a young seed multiplication company with a very experienced team specialized in the production of hand-pollinated vegetable hybrids.
